Hi there
I am thinking of buying the Jimdo Pro packager at £ 60 per year
http://www.jimdo.com/pricing/
As i want a simple to build website that looks business like.
What are people thoughts about jimdo and are they are better alternatives or is this one of the best to go with.
i did look at mrsite but the features/templates and ease of use do not look as good
many thanks

Hey,
I'm from Jimdo, thought I could come here directly to try to answer your question if that's okay.
You can actually try it for free, so you can see if the editing interface and everything works for you.
As for a business template, you can pick from a lot of different layouts and designs, but you can also change it all pretty easily too if you decid you want a different look or color scheme.
Feel free to ask me any questions you have along the way!0 -
Hi there
Many thanks for replying (although i think you need MSE permission when posting from a company
)
Can i ask a few questions
Are Jimdo UK based
Do you offer webmail access
Do you offer both pop3 and smtp
In the pro package you are allowed 1 free domain name, why do you not offer .co.uk
Many thanks0 -

Shop window or catalogue & order online?
If just shop window then many other suppliers, like 123 may be of useNumerus non sum0 -
No, we're based in Germany (Hamburg), but we have teams in the US, China, and Japan as well. Are Jimdo UK based
Yup, we do offer webmail access if that's how you prefer to access your email.Do you offer webmail access

If you prefer to use your own email client, you can use download your email using POP3 and send using SMTP -- and you can use IMAP as well if you prefer that to POP3.
For some reason, the domain registrar we work with hasn't made .co.uk available to us, sorry. You can still use your own domain name (that you purchase through another registrar) with a paid Jimdo subscription. In my experience, it's pretty simple to make the DNS settings or to change the nameservers. In the pro package you are allowed 1 free domain name, why do you not offer .co.uk0
