Hi Speed hub controllers...

I have a PNY Technologies USB 2.0 Flash Drive and when I plugged it into the USB port I have it stated it required a Hi Speed hub controller??
Where would I get one, average cost of a decent one, how much would it cost to have one installed into my PC or wherever it needs to go.
I want to put photos onto the thing, can I still use it without the Hi Speed hub controller? I honestly don't have a clue about technical stuff like this and would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks a lot. :-)

Hi
Yes, you can still use it, it just means its connecting to a usb 1.0 port on your pc, so it will be a lot slower than a USB.2.0 which your Flash drive is.
It doesn't matter because usb's are backward compatible, so a usb2 device will work in a usb1 port.0 -
Thanks for your reply. I managed to fit all the photos on that I wanted to download. Took about 20 minutes.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0
