Hi
How do Metrobank currency conversion rates compare to the rates Nationwide used to / use ? Am thinking of getting one of these cards now the NW one is not as good as it used to be.
Any things I nee to be aware of? I leave London on Friday so given the short timeframe this is the only card I could have in time I believe? Regardless of timing I hear it's te equivilant of the NW card anyway?
Thanks

If you believe what is said they are the same rates as the old Nationwide ones - ie no loading whatsoever.
I see no reason to disbelieve0 -
Their Important Information Summary says:
Mastercard's exchange rates can be found HERE and, from a brief check, only vary slightly from those which were applicable to the VISA rates used by Nationwide (at 0% loading) prior to 1st November. If you make a debit card payment in a foreign currency, we will change the amount of the transaction to sterling on the date we pay it out of your account using the rate for the transaction which is set and provided to us by MasterCard.0
