It's irrelevant what anyone else thinks, it's personal choice that counts.
Ther could be numerous reasons why the poster wanted 46 items (personal use, gifts, donations to charities etc.), it doesn't need to be explained.
BTW, I only ordered 5 gift sets (1 order), as that was my choice. They will be added to small presents as an extra - at only £1.40 each they are a nice little extra.
