Some manufacturers will have auction pulled over selling there clothes, due to vero rules on ebay. They will claim it is devaluing there product or name.
As for mobile phones, ask yourself are you ready for a lot of hassle, just search here for problems people have buying and selling phones.
I would look to find a new product no one is selling yet on ebay.Debt Free Wannabee - Updated 13/08/2007

you need to find a product first.. and stuff like mobile phones whoesale etc.. people wont tell you to be honest.. if I had a best selling product I would keep my supplier under wraps and most sellers will.. its all about profits..
Find a good product that is not saturated on ebay and do some investigation on sources.. maybe check some of the ex catalogue or returns stock to start off on until you get some experience.. there are no quick simple ways to earn hard cash you have to work at it and as trends change so quickly you have to keep working at it to stay at that level.. ie.. if you find a good seller (product).. others will spot it and try it as well..=======================

You have got to be kidding asking a question like this. Anyone who is making good money isn't going to tell you.
The only way to make any money (apart from selling your odds and sods) is put time and effort into researching possible products, then sourcing them and then being fast on your feet either when they bomb and you have to offload fast or source new stock when you sell out faster than you think.
I have been doing this a while, the best bit of advice I can give you is get on a plane to China, get an agent who you can trust and then find a manufacturer.
What ever you decide to do will require research and losts of hard work, there is no fast buck to be had on EBay, unless of course you find something that nobody else sells and manage to create a demand.0 -
The trick is to find an untapped niche market and then come up with an original product to sell to that market, A couple of years ago I developed my own product which I sell. Ok, so it doesn't bring in £1000 a month, but I'm usually £40-£50 better off most months which is a nice bit of pocket money.
The mobile phone market has been flooded on ebay. A few years ago I used to sell mobile phone accessories, but competition was so great due to flooding that it's become a real buyers market. I mean, you can get a mobile charger now for under £2!! I also got fed up with nigerian scammers (took 5 attempts to sell one phone!).
But I do agree that anyone wanting to make serious money needs to be prepared to put in some serious hours of hard graft. There are no shortcuts, unless they have stumbled on a goldmine in thier granny's attic!Forget the chicken and the egg, what do you use to plant seedless grapes?0 -
Hi,
You may already know this but there's a wholesale/job lots section on eBay,there are pallets of Mothercare clothes on there from time to time I've noticed. Lots of negative feedback on eBay tends to be about mobile phones, arriving broken, dodgy SIMS etc, so proceed with caution I'd suggest.
