With Travel Insurance paticularly to the US where medical costs are some the highest in the world, it pays to buy the best that she can afford.
The Post Office policy is recommended by many people and a contibutor to this site who works for a hospital in Florida dealing with billling, says that their Insurers Fortis are reliable to deal with.The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -

She bought a PO policy for the same trip last year.
In the absence of 'better' advice I'll be advising her to do the same this time round.0
