So today a letter from them dated as above arrives on the mat. It is addressed to myself and ex who I had removed from the property almost 4 years ago.
Has anyone else had a very outdated letter like this?
It is thanking me for telling them that he left in 2007 and that my tax creds will stop!! They didn't as i went on to claim from then until now as a single claimant.
Very odd, what would give rise to this letter NEARLY 4 YEARS TOO LATE? , ANY IDEAS KIND PEEPS? :rotfl:

It could be that they have finally got a new address for your previous partner. They are legally obliged to tell your previous partner about his old claim and would be able to issue this, once got new address and the same letter would be issue to you.
The delay of this letter would therefore be down to your previous partner not telling tax credits his new address.0 -
he NEVER updated anything when he changed addresses, he was a total irresponsible nightmare, glad you said that to be honest, that makes sense............Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0
