Also if it's for hire anywhere i am in the north east of england.

I'd welcome the same info for West London. Ta.'Puritanism: the haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy'.

Id expect there very expensive and limited use to the individual, i can understand valet / cleaning services having them as they would be a tool of the trade, if there are no present smokers eg you moved in and previouse tenant was a smoker a ioniser will probably do the trick and only take a day or 2 to get rid of the smell. If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

Use sugar soap on furniture, skirting boards, doors etc. that takes the smell away OR place several bowls of malt vinegar (v cheap) around the affected areas. One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0

Have had alook on the net and i can buy one for £80. Does anyone know how effective they are. We smokein the livingroom on an evening when the dd is in bed so it would be put to god use. I just want to be able to freshen the room up every so often. Has anyone used one ? how effective was it?
It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

Why not use the New Year to give up smoking?
If you as smokers find the room smelly, imagine what a non smoker, e.g. your daughter, can smell.
Even if you restrict your smoking to when she is in bed, you are still subjecting her to some small degree of health risk as smoke travels and also remains in the air for a considerable time.
You could start by cutting down or by going outside to smoke.
I don’t intend any offence. I just think you and your daughter would all be better off if you didn’t smoke. As far as I can see these foggers just disguise smells with other more pleasant smells. I have no idea what chemicals are involved or whether they might carry some degree of health risk if used frequently.0 -
can i just say that these fogging machine are crap, i run my own valeting company and invested in one of these foggers( it is now in the bin) so dont waste your money WHY?
the machine is just a disco smoke machine that you can buy for about £10
to get rid of the odour you first have to treat the affected area with a odour neutraliser
the chemicals that you buy for them the smell only lasts a week maximum
you will find that the fogging machine nozzle will block up and be scrap anyway
the machine will only kill odour when you buy the PROPER chemicals for these machines
the fog leaves a nasty residue all over the inside of the car including the windows
if you want it doing properly i would reccomend calling a valeter and asking if they use an Auto Smart Aromatec
one of these
as these machine cost £300+ i dont think it is worth buying for personel use but it would be well worth to pay a valeter to come and do it for you.
The system uses dry vapours produced from essential natural oils to neutralise and permanently remove malodours such as those produced by tobacco smoke, animals and food.
Unlike conventional air fresheners, the dry vapour intensively produced by the Aromatek system penetrates deep into the porous surfaces within the vehicle firstly neutralising the stale odour and then emitting Aromatek's own fragrance for months to come.
In all cases of deodourising the most important factor is initially to remove the source be this spillage, food or pet hair.
Once the source is removed the vehicle is then deodourised with the Aromatek unit using the Neutrox cartridge. This cartridge is made up of over 32 natural essential oils designed to chemically neutralise and permanently remove odours including those trapped within upholstery, carpets and headlinings.
Once complete the vehicle interior can be optionally refreshed using a fragrance cartridge again applied by the Aromatek system. These are available in either Orange, Vanilla or Leather scent.
hope this helps and saves you some money :beer: steves cleenz valeting :beer:0 -
