The Great Dr Seuss Read Aloud Competition!

Read Dr Seuss aloud in the wackiest wildest way to win a 7 night holiday to Universal Resort (inc passes), Orlando, Florida for four people (+ 2 runner up prizes)

Upload a video of you, your friends or family reading one of the five Dr Seuss classics. Be creative and mischievous and get your entire family or friends involved (perhaps even your own cat?)

Extra points will be awarded for imagination, innovation and cat participation. Props available on the site for you to use. Videos will be put to public vote.

    1. This competition is promoted by HarperCollins Publishers (“HarperCollins”), 77-85 Fulham Palace Road, London, W6 8JB.
    2. Closing date for entries is 31 May 2011. No entries received after this date will be valid. No purchase necessary. A panel of judges at HarperCollins will select the winners for first, second and third prizes by 12/06/2011. HarperCollins’ decision as to who has won the competition shall be final.
    3. The first prize will be allocated to UK residents only, except employees of HarperCollins and their immediate families, who are not allowed to enter the competition. First Prize (1): Trip for four (4) to Universal Orlando® Resort including: Round Trip coach class air transportation from the closest major international airport to the winner to Orlando, Florida. Winner will be responsible for ground transportation to/from the airport at point of origin. Non-exclusive ground transfers to/from the airport and hotel in Orlando, Florida. Hotel accommodations, room and tax only, for up to four (4) people in a maximum of one (1) room at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando® or, if not available at time of travel, at another onsite hotel selected by UO, in its sole discretion, for seven (7) consecutive nights. Hotel accommodations do not include meals, incidentals, tips, telephone calls, or any other personal expenses incurred during the trip. Four (4) complimentary 7-Day/2-Park admission to Universal Studios Florida® and Universal’s Islands of Adventure®. APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV): $7,900.84. Travel must be completed no later than 30/05/2012. Blackout dates or other restrictions may apply as dictated by airline and/or hotel. Winner travel arrangements must be made a minimum of 60 days prior to winner travel and are subject to availability. If winner is unable to fulfill prize during time period, winner forfeits the prize package. Winner must be 21 years of age or older. All Prizes, including trips are non-transferable and have no cash value. All unclaimed and/or unused prize packages will remain the property of Universal Orlando and may not be used as sales or trade incentive for employees of HarperCollins, their subsidiaries, agencies or clients. Winner and guests must travel at the same time and must depart from the same city.

    5. The third prize is open to UK and international entries, except employees of HarperCollins and their immediate families, who are not allowed to enter the competition. The third prize includes: T-Shirts from Mighty Fine, Hybrid Promotions, Jay Jay’s, and CID, Stovepipe Cat Hat from Rubies, Plush from Equity Marketing and Fox, Carry-All Bags from Universal, and Dr. Seuss books from HarperCollins Publishers.
    6. The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable and subject to availability. No guarantee is given as to the quality of the prize. No cash or prize alternatives are available.
    7. HarperCollins reserve the right in their reasonable discretion to substitute any prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
