EMA with fluctuating income?

Income in 2009-10 was above 30k (due to redundancy) so no EMA

Income in 2010-11 will certainly be below £30k but EMA say no right of appeal because they must use P60 after 05.04.11. even though 2010-11 income is "known" now.

Anyone know better?
Or that this is correct.... thanks.

Before EMA is chopped ..... April 2011?

  • my sister and brother in law were in exactly the same situation and unfortunately they did not get EMA for their Daughter either! Unfortunately it is right. Sorry for being the bearer of bad news. good luck.
    They say money talks, well it sure isn't on speaking terms with me!!:D
