We have just got our new computer a few days ago and ever since we down loaded something from avery we have nothing but pop up's and spam which has also slowed the pc down.
Its driving me nuts. I suppose we will have to wipe the hard drive but is there any other hope.........
ps we have also have tried deleting it from the registry but it just comes back.

In addition to Spybot you should have Ad-aware for the bits spybot misses and Spyware Blaster. find them on the following sites---S.B http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/
Ad-aware---http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html?

There are other sites, take your pick.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
If none of the above cures the problem ,download Hijackthis from http://www.isecurity.org.uk/downloads/, run the scan, save the log and post it to http://www.d-a-l.com/help/forumdisplay.php?f=8
or this site where much more knowledgible people than I can dissect it and tell you what to do. Do not try to delete anthing you see on the log before getting expert help.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
