Distance selling regs and insurance

Hi
Story is I just took out an online insurance policy purely because of quidco cashback - only to discover quidco didn't track (or even acknowledge a clickthrough so they wont even deal with the query). Yeh Yeh I know - don't bother with all the well only buy through quidco if ...
My question is - under long distance selling regs, do I have a right to cancel the policy for a full refund (ie no fees whatsoever) as the policy has not yet started. Policy was taken out on Saturday so I've been 3 days so far and will obviously need to act fast if I am eligible.
Thanks

What do the T&Cs say about policy cancellation?
Under the distance selling regulations I don't think you cancel without paying anything once your contract has already started.

The cooling off period and your right to cancel
The cooling off period begins as soon as an order has been made. For goods (such as books or electrical items) it ends seven working days after the day you get the items.
For services (such as mobile phone contracts), it ends seven working days after the day the order was made. If you agree to the service beginning within the seven days, your right to cancel ends when the service starts.0
