Eon Fixonline 3
Like lots of people , my discounted plan Eon Fixonline 3, will be finishing on 1st Dec. If I wanted to change supplier to get a better deal, do I have to wait until 1st Dec to start the switching process as there is a cancellation fee on the Eon plan. Or can I start it all off immediately so that its in progress ? Would like to try and get another Fixed tariff before the prices go up.

Like the 'lots of people' in the same position as you it's the same answer.
Have a read of the posts - the Eon rep answered the same question ffrom one of those other 'lots of people' very recently"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -

Hi pat
It usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to change supplier. As long as you are still with us when Fixonline 3 ends, you will not be charged a cancellation fee.
Also, we don't give discount on a final bill following a change of supplier. However, this will not apply to your Fixonline 3 agreement if the switch completes after the end of the tariff.
In this case, as you will have completed the full term of the contract, you will receive all the Fixonline 3 discount, even if part of this falls within the final bill.
Hope this helps pat, Give me a shout if you need any more info as will be happy to help.
