student content insurance unsure

Hi there,
I am looking for best deal for student content insurance, would anyone have any recommendations?

Also any opinions on Js student home insurance? I read their policy and it seems cheeky that they don't cover theft, if there are no signs of burglary!

Best regards

May be best posting this on the student board. I used Saxon insurance but that was a couple of years ago.

Have you looked at your parent's home insurance as most cover students contents free of charge, make sure you understand any restrictions in cover eg that there have to be signs of a violent or forcible entry which is a common exclusion

Yeah. Those crazy insurers. Fancy having to prove that a theft had actually happened rather than just trying to claim for a brand new macbook which happened to have been swiped through an open window. Anyone would think that they were trying to run a profitable business or something...
