BT - don't want to get stung again!

Has anyone managed to get connected through the BT £29 offer?

I've put all our details into BTs website (our house has been empty for 18 months so we'll need to reconnect the old BT line) and it's saying we don't actually need to pay anything - just £13 per month or so for unlimited weekend tariff.

When we moved into our rented house 3 years ago we got stung - 3 times we were told it would be free then we got charged £128 and couldn't get it overturned - don't want togo down that lie again and would rather go with another provider if this might happen.

Has anyone connected a dead line and only been charged £29?

Ta, C xx
