Thanks for your post, I am currently renting from a private landlord and been here for 2 years the rent is cheaper then anywhere else, I have looked at flats nearer the job, and they are all 100 + extra. I have also looked at housesharing nothing has come up yet.
I have also been on the website liftshare, to see if anyone will be driving to where my job is nothing yet.

Would the travel come to the same amount as the extra rent though? Or is yours big enough to rent a room to someone - if you'd be allowed to?0

I'd try all the estate agents and see what they have for renting as well. It might be a good time to take stock of your belonging s and anything you wouldn't take with you, ebay and amazon!
