land regitsry question

hi all,
im about to put in an offer on a flat (in devon). the vendor still has to find a place to buy, so that buys me a bit of time to see what the market is going to do. is there a site that gives a monthly stat on regional house prices? or when is the next land registry due out (and what were the findings of the last one)? ive been on the excellent hometrack site, but couldnt find my answers there.
any help would be much appreciated

The property prices section on the Up My Street website http://www.upmystreet.com shows the history of property prices for each type of building in the location entered.
There's also lots of other useful and bizarre information about the local area.
