BACS Transfer to account has not cleared

I am quite worried. I posted before about my First Reserve account not clearing a BACS transfer but I am hoping for more replies please but I am now on the 6th day of no clearning and at my wits end.
I was expecting a BACS payment into my First Reserve account and I was told it left the person's account on last Tuesday.
I have not received it yet. I am really worried because it definitely has left the person's account yet it has not cleared.
Why is this happening? I thought BACS cleared in three working days.
By my estimations, it is like this:
Last Tues
" Wed
" Thurs
" Friday
This Mond
" Tues
" Wed
It has been between 6-7 working days.
Does anyone know why? I have tried to contact Natwest but they are busy...worried!

The person could have sent it to the wrong account.0

Are you sure the person paying you told you the truth?
Maybe this is the 21st century equivalent of that old excuse: "the cheque's in the post"..........0 -
@Lokolo, that is what I thought but it did go through from their end, and the bank account details are correct. Trying to get through to Natwest.Credit Card paid back in Full (June 2011): :j £500 in the clear -

This is an inter bank transfer and can take 5 working days. If it is not there on Thursday, contact your bank.

That is what I thought too initially but they promise that it was sent.
My first feeling was because I asked for it to be paid into a First Reserve account, I heard they don't allow your wages to be paid in there (this is not my employer) so perhaps Natwest is blocking it?
Guess I just have to call them asap. Really sick of Natwest.Credit Card paid back in Full (June 2011): :j £500 in the clear -

Thank you for working that out. Argh, I hate this stuff. I will give an update as and when.

I have a Natwest First Reserve account, and have made BACS transfers into it from different accounts on many occasions, and it has always been there within the 3-5 working days.Debt free and staying that way! :beer:0

NatWest process BACS payments between 2:00-2:30 AM, if it's not in the account on the day, it's not going to be.0 -
