Help! Credit card misuse by shop

  • I can't see that it is misuse. You used your card to pay for the items received. The seller processed the amount due in two seperate transactions. The end result is the same.

    Yes I agree. If a fuss was to be made and credit card company does reverse the charges, what is the real intention of the OP?

    All retailers have your full card number and some even have your name as printed on your card.

    The last four digits shown on your receipt ( the consumer ) is usually for your own security ie. dropping your receipt in the street.
