So how does he expect you to unblock the trap when it, inevitably, gets choked up with hair and soapscum? How does he expect you to be able to isolate the supplies to the taps when you need to if you cannot access the isolating valves which he, of course, has fitted iaw regs?

Yep, that's what I'm saying. The fitter/ bathroom salesman said things didn't go wrong so it wouldn't be a problem :rotfl:. You live and learn. If he has to "untile" the bath to sort it- that's what he'll have to do (in my opinion)
