Voltage Free Time Clock?

Hi everyone,
I am looking to know what the difference is between the Horstmann H27XL and H27ZXL.
Specifically what it means by "voltage free"? I am looking to get one of these to replace a time clock that is being changed as I am upgrading heating controls to an S-plan arrangement giving me independent heating and hot water.
Thanks!

'Voltage free' means that the switch has external connections to both [or all 3] of its connections. You must connect the supply to one contact and the load to another contact. There is no internal connection providing a supply to the contact.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
