Without wishing to sound rude or intrusive, can a bankrupt buy and sell property?
I assume the smiley is not an indication you are linked with the company.
Strange post after a three year gap.Been away for a while.0 -
Hi Running Horse
You are rude!
I asked a genuine question for my boyfriend whom is selling his property to move in with me.
I put a smiley face to be POLITE!

don't go online, as dot coms are here one day and can be gone the next after a problem.
use a local indepedent estate agent recomemnded solicitor firm.
never listen to a chain estate agents recomemndation as you will get bucket shop outfits where you don't get a 'solicitor' acting. My posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:
My bad spelling...well I rush type these opinions on my own time, so sorry, but they are free.:o0 -
Hi Thanks Timmy
We will save £400 by using an online solicitor. We have been recommended to Beaumont & legal by a friend she buys and sells properties and has used them. My boyfriends house has gone on the Market yesterday. I will do some more research.
Thanks again“One should never count the years – one should count one’s interests. I have kept young trying never to lose my childhood sense of wonderment. I am glad I still have a vivid curiosity about the world I live in.”

is cheap is what you are after then you have to ask why the outfit who are cheap will have any more respect for your deal and you don't seem to. you won't get a solicitor, but someone untrained - leading you to a far greater changce of having that knock on the door later once you move in about some eror they made or when you come to sell.
the conveyancer can spend up to 12 weeks looking aftre the deal for you, so expect to may min £500 for a conveyancer and goodness make sure they know the law, and are an actual 'solicitor' or you will be poting again with a mess up your cheapo charlies made.

Hi Timmy
We will shop around some local solicitors first as do not want it to turn out a nightmare. I suppose its better to pay more and it goes smoothly.
