in Credit cards
Hi all!
I'm currently in the process of searching around for my first credit card. I am presently saving for a mortgage so am being extremely cautious with my spending. I don't plan on using the card very much, but would like it for occasions when required, e.g. Some online services that refuse debit cards and hotel security abroad. My debit card will still be my main card.
Given that I am a NatWest customer I was considering the NatWest Platinum card. Could anybody advise if this is a good card worth going for a first-timer?
Also, am I correct in saying that if I set up a direct debit to pay off my credit card bill in full each month I will not be charged interest?
Please excuse my ignorance. I'm new to credit cards and find it all rather confusing! All help is greatly appreciated.
