Kitchen is in the basement, does that make it unmortgageable ?
Unattractive, kitchen in the basement, bathroom off the kitchen. Need the loo in the night and you have to go dowstairs through the lounge, to the basement kitchen and find the bathroom!I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Nice, check it out on streetview - once you "land" go up the hill with the houses on your right and it's the first set of semis that are on the left... look at that view!
Mind you, what's odd is that if it was a good price you'd expect that bloke next door with the much bigger house, washing his posh shiny car would have snapped it up just to make sure he wasn't living next door to peasants.
Next door sold in 2008 for £74k http://www.houseprices.co.uk/e.php?q=+Brynbedw+Road+52&n=100 -
If you could up it to £50k you have a choice of 30 pages here...

No. Kitchen has a door to the outside, it's just the words they used. I'd put a kitchen in that 21x15 reception room and have a garden room/lounge downstairs.Kitchen is in the basement, does that make it unmortgageable ?
