HI
I previously posted this within an existing thread but no answers. Try again...
I have installed truecrypt on my machine. I wanted it to password protect all files on my usb.
However, I cannot access my usb files now. I set up a volume (plus a hiden one) but after I mount it and try to open files, it says that the drive has not been formatted -i tried formatting but it wouldn't let me do that.
I think I just want to get rid of the whole thing. How do I do this?

It doesn't tell you how to get rid of it there.
However, I did find this post on the TrueCrypt forum:
'I just installed Truecrypt today to try it out and created a volume using a 120MB file. I want to remove the program now and restorethe 120 MB to my hard drive again - how do I do that? Do I just unmount and delete the file in question?
If you're sure you don't want to keep anything on the volume, just dismount and delete it. Then uninstall TC the ordinary way.'
However, I still can't find how to delete the volume.0 -
It wouldn't be very secure if it was easy to delete the volume that you have created would it.
You need to follow the instructions to access the volume before you can remove it.

You're assuming I don't have the passwords. I do. It would be 'easy' if you could do it without authorised access.
Do I simply delete the actual files or is there a facility to delete the volume? And will the disk space I allocated for the volume become re-available?
