Car written off

this happened to me in a Toyota Avensis (excellent choice by the way...)

Mine was written off I bought it back for £50 cost me £500 to repair and I ran it for a couple of years. I think the write off value was £1500

Need to choose a not too expensive garage to repair it tho

My OH has just rung from the repair yard (he went to empty the car, pick up the tax disc, etc) and one of the guys there is going to see what he can source the parts needed for, so we can compare costs if we decide to buy back. I was told that the buy-back price would be 24%, though, so not as good as you got yours for.:(
