Where is the best place to sell my guitar?

I received a £150 guitar as a gift a few years ago and as bad as I feel about it, I'm just not interested and have barely touched the thing
If I was to sell it where would be the best place? I accept I will not get anywhere near the original value but theres not much point it just sitting in a cupboard!

I'd try local small ads as safe shipping of the guitar might be difficult and expensive and reduce the amount you would get if you sold it online.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's electric. Thanks I may try that, I guess people could be looking for these things right now for Christmas0

If you get no reslut, stick it on ebay. There are plenty for sale on there. Shipping isn't a big problem.0

My brother buys and sells guitars all the time on ebay - you can get pretty decent prices on there.0

With plenty of cheap (if not entirely reliable) couriers around these days you're not just limited to local collection only. The only thing is to make sure you pack it bloody well and ensure they accept instruments.
I'm going to ask a local music shop if they have a spare guitar box I can have (for a few quid if needs be) as I have one to sell and I don't like the idea of randoms coming to my house ;d0 -
I recently sold a guitar on ebay. I didnt have any problems, but one thing to think about is that any couriers state that it must be in a hard case in order to be covered for insurance purposes, I didnt realise this when I listed it & ended up taking a chance by sending it smothered in bubble wrap, a soft guitar case & in a cardboard guitar box.
Fortunately everything was fine, but I was bit nervous until I had confirmation from the buyer that all was OK.
I have also sold guitar bits on Gumtree & got some decent prices for them. I tend to list on Gumtree first & then if I dont get any interest I list on ebay.0
