I have to confess that I was thinking along the lines of something where you poured the plain milk in at one end and it came out the other end all hot, frothed and chocolatey!!! (that sounds quite naughty actually)

I've been wanting the Bodum 1446 Latteo Milk Frother that the first reply mentioned, for ages as it has good reviews, and I adore foamed milk!
I had one of those whisk things and found it a complete waste of time.
I also read that skimmed milk foams best, and full fat the least best (but still fine)!A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -

It's probably the extra fat in full fat that prevents it from frothing, though I wonder how much fat is really in full fat these days.0
