World of Warcraft - Virgin Media Lag Issues

Hi All,
So Virgin Media acknowledged since last week their traffic management systems detect WoW traffic as P2P and throttle, thus causing HUGE lag and disconnect issues.
If you're experiencing it, there's a temporary fix. Change your MTU setting to 900 (change it back to 1500 once resolved). To do this, download the SG TCP Optimizer application from http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php and you can change it in the custom settings.

Quite disgusting from Virgin to be fair. Their throttling for bad users is catching thousands of innocent ones.. great value for money hey?

I can vouch for MercilessKillers temp fix. I did as suggested and so far have had no latency problems. Nice one MercilessKiller. I totaly agree that this looks pretty bad for Virgin Media, will be interesting to see how long they take to sort out this problem Thanks again for the temp fix o/0
