Trying to cancel Bgas!! to go to Scottish Power

Hi All,
I'm currently with Southern Electric;last wk on Fri 29th Oct; BGas called me to say all is forgiven pls pls come bk. to us and stupidly I agreed and from what I remember they said we will contact you via your email and you have 7 days to cancel or so. The next day I checked on MSE the comparison sites and found SP to be the cheapest; So i now chk my email everyday for contact from BG so I can say thx but no thx. But I have not heard from them yet thru email or post.
Can I just start a changeover to SP anyway or will there be much confusion!! Also if you put in how much you pay yearly then are these comp sites accurate.

Why don't you phone British Gas and cancel and then go with whoever you want to go with.

Thanks, but I never asked for their No. Going thru Yellow pgs tomorrow and hope I can spk to someone who is fully competent!!!!

Called them up; it was a case of comp says no; after a little persuasion they did cancel. Basically it was wait for email and then you have 7 days, and I explained I had my mind made up so going to SP although one site says I will save £216 another says I will save £246,3rd says £187 and I have input £600 yr aags and £360 elec on all!!! Also going thru Topcashback for a return of £62 cash!!
