Hi, I have just finished work to have my baby, I had two jobs, one full time and one part time, i will get SMP from my full time job but can anyone tell me if I am entitled to anthing from the second part time job? I had a form from them today to say they cant pay me SMP as my average weekly wages werent high enough, but can I claim maternity allowance for this job even though I am getting SMP from my full time job? Thank you

You only Get SMP once as far as I know. Its a statutory amuont so they wouldnt pay it twice.I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

You can get SMP from both jobs if they both satisfy the conditions, The 2nd job dosen't so unfortunately you won't get anything for this :-(0
