Just escaped. Gosh what a day!!!! It is so dark outside thank goodness for the weekend. What a fab money saving thread. Some great ideas on here. i eat lot s of walkers crisps and so far i haven't done anything with those vouchers i could kick myself i may try something later. It's funny how i waste cash, just thinking a little bit would help so much.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Hi Kit, even if you don't get a chance to enter the comp to win £10, bank your codes as they earn you points. You can spend the points on things, and save money to using them. Just keep an eye on the grabbit thread.
Umm, where else do I subscribe too?....
Cashback threads. If anyone shops online for anything, don't forget Quidco and Topcashback. Wouldn't bother too much with Rpoints and CashbackKings as hearing they are going bust.
The guys on the printable coupon thread are fab, like this one
I look on grabbit for the boots threads as you can get fab bargains there, with your vouchers and ACM vouchers, and they used to have lots of glitches. Slowed down a bit now.
And good old Tesco threads! Again I look on grabbit for these, as many a bargain to be had!
Where does everyone shop? I took advantage of the Sainsbury's glitch with the till spits and have stocked up on fairy liquid gel and Ariel, etc.
It is funny, you assume everyone knows about all the moneysaving threads on the forums but of course they don't! There are too many and sometimes you need someone to tell you apart something happening straight away, especially if you don't have time to read them.0 -
I didn't know about any of these. Gosh. Back in an hour or two after i have rested. So tired.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Have a good rest Kit.
Keep telling myself to start a blog about moneysaving, but assume people already know it all, but they don't....
hmmm, add to long list of things to do to make money!0 -
You are right aureol, people just seem to stick to a few boards - I suppose it would take forever to read everything. I tend to stick to the money boards but do go looking for offers or codes if I buying something large or placing an order online. I imagine the comps board gets quite addictive but I only ever pop in occasionally.
This week I have ordered some cheap perfume thanks to a thread on here - hoping its going to be okay when it comes.
Right back to work so that I can finish fairly soon.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
I belong to a comping group already, long before I found out about MSE and subscribe to a comping magazine, subscribe to newsletters as they already have comps, etc, always looking for comps... lol so don't bother with MSE comping thread.0

I just woke up. It is v windy outside and pitch black now. I might watch tv. 3Dogs texted me at 5.40 when i was asleep to say:
"... Sorry my connection went off and brother came back from seeing Mam- Mam was better when they were there but had a 15 minute coughing fit just before they left. I am having stir fry crayfish with noodles- my brother is a wonderful cook lucky for me. Be back online soon...."
She sounds happier i think. I will ring her tonight after i have had supper. Steve and Andy also texted to say their internet connection is down. Looks like it is just me. I will stay on for a bit but really fancy an early night. I cannot believe it is so close to Christmas. Am starting to get really excited. I have not bought a single present yet!Aiming for a minimal spend 20220
