So that was Christmas? where did it go? And why oh why did I get that mountain of sweets and chocolates which are now sitting there, looking at me, begging to be eaten....?

Had beans on toast for lunch today, such a nice change after all the rich stuff.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas, I can see interesting times ahead for 2011, a challenge for us all. Bring it on, folks, we can handle it!

Hallo Nargle. Did you have a good christmas?

Just got in. My sister arrived out of the blue. She didn't turn up on Xmas eve, swore at me on facebook and then today she turned up like nothing had happened. She didn't talk about it (I dont do confrontations am a coward) and carted me off to town????? Hey maybe Christmas is a time of goodwill? You will all be pleased to know i didn't buy very much. Am being good.

Christmas okay-ish, OH in a bit of a mood, found fault with most of the food we had, but c'est la vie. Me and DS had a fairly good time, and I am looking forward to the New Year as one that will be challenging but hopefully rewarding.

    Families, hey? Who'd have them??

Off to start tonight's toad in the hole, a welcome change after all the rich stuff we've been having.
