I haven't even started thinking of Christmas (sorry Susan). I usually leave it till the last minute and buy presents in one or two days. Bit silly as it is jolly expensive and the best stuff has gone by then. Now from reading MSE i can see that people start shopping in January. Very disciplined. I am learning lots.

Maybew i should come round on a regular basis and do your gardening, Thats my hobbie, I was in a shop yesterday and they were playing christmas songs.. just to get you in the festive mood.

Pah someone in the village is having fireworks - they've just started - but doglee has had rescue remedy to try to calm her a bit.

As in really near 40? Will you be having a big 40th party?

I cant be organised, I still leave it to my mother to get my main presents. I know its lazy but it works for me

Do you have spring bulbs in the garden?

Oh no,fireworks have started again,bang[literally]goes early night.Pups are going ballistic.Good job neighbours arent about.But then again,they would just have to put up with it,wouldnt they.;)

I had one of those plug-ins for my cats shorts - the vet suggested it when one of them had got upset by the decorating and refused to come in the house (or when he did he was being anti-social) - It ws hard to tell if it made a difference but I might try one for the dog.

I wonder if there is anything in them that can effect humans. Did you find you started purring Tixy? hehe
