 It sure is frantic when Holly and Grace are here  they've been dancing, singing, and we played '21's' (pontoon) but it's great to spend time with them. Oddly I spend lots of time with Holly 5 years ago when Dad was ill/died, and now getting to spend time with Grace at the same age as Holly was then, more or less. So that is the benefit of spending serious time up here, rather than a quick visit.

Brother is now making soup for tea before me and him go to hospital later, so I'd better go and help really - back laters :D

Hello gosh looks like i missed everyone - hello Holly and Grace especially. What a lovely chat I missed. I have half knitted scarves as a child but that was it really. One of my adult students took it upon herself to teach me how to make jewellery last year and i half made a pair of earrings. I suppose i am not practical.

I have just brought clothes in from outside and despite the fact that it has been a mildly windy day they are still jolly wet. You can tell the season's have changed. I did a bit of marking but slept and feel so much better for it.

So more marking for you tomorrow then Kit? I was very good at embroidery and dressmaking at school and made loads of my own clothes when I started working - but just gradually stopped and don't think I could do either now :o

I timed it very well to help my brother make our tea - he had just put the soup into the bowls so nothing left for me to do, though I suppose I'd better pop in now and do the dishes. He made some lovely cream of mushroom soup though - very impressed (though I shouldn't have the cream of course :o)
