Beanie, does having a hot drink help?
Went to Tescos, spent far more than I meant to, but it will last a few days, so won't have to buy much more. Just need some lettuce, toilet roll, and bucks fizz. Forgot to buy eggs for brekkie, and will need to get another loaf.
Luckily I had all my tesco vouchers, and got about £20 off my bill, plus £3 LV from P!neconeI love watching my bill come down and the SA's face in shock when it reduces further.
I didn't bother with any vouchers as thought it would be too busy. It was ok.0 -
As long there is a bit of alcohol to accompany it and maybe some christmas cake or pud i am sure he wont mind. there is a big creature on my roof making a racket. sounds like a giant tiger. Probably a squirrel doing my head in. Silly thing why can't it sit in the trees? And i like squirrels.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Shame you spent more than you planned at Mr T's Aureol, but at least you got all your coupons, vouchers, etc to bring down the total price - well done :T :T

I'm off to bed now, been catching up on my emails and surveys
We are going down to the cafe at the car boot in the morning (car boot not on - closed until 2nd January) as we are going to have breakfast there, before we hit the shops again - don't need much, but got to get some bits in for our neighbour who still can't get out on her own
We might even be gluttons for punishment and try the supermarkets late on before they close, looking for those whoopies at ridiculous prices - hopefully!!
Anyway, hope everyone has a good day tomorrow, and if we don't see you before handMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Also I am declaring this as my last Christmas that I am celebrating. Next year I will cut everything down to minimum. But I will be making more traditional Finnish xmas foods and keep the holiday time as time to relax, quiet down and enjoy some lovely food. I think I will look into some old pagan traditions and see if anything takes my fancy. Aplologies for those who are celebrating Christmas for religious reasons. Those reasons just don't resonate with me.
What are the traditional foods in Finland Marru? Its got to be something better than turkey I hope?steviehants wrote: »next week the supermarkets will be displaying and selling Easter eggs.:rotfl:
Some already are Steve, I've seen mini eggs and creme eggs thus far.
