have finally cleared living room and dining area. Looks presentable, still not found ring though :( and I forgot to check water on tree, and it has been dry for don't know how many days, so pine leaves were coming off shed loads today :(

Put up some decorations and they have fallen down! grrrr, will wait for DH to come home and fix them up.

Spare room looks like a bomb has hit it! Everything that I need for one reason or other that can be stored away has gone up there, DH will go mad...lol

Ok, I have 3 currys coupons left, expire tomorrow, the £5 if anyone wants them, but remember if you have previously registered a code to your address, they won't let you register again, so do it do sist, bro, etc. ;)

off to tesco now, so will log in later. bye all.

Oooh - I am not organised. I just did a mad last minute dash to garden centre and Mr T to have a look around to see what I can find.

Also I am declaring this as my last Christmas that I am celebrating. Next year I will cut everything down to minimum. But I will be making more traditional Finnish xmas foods and keep the holiday time as time to relax, quiet down and enjoy some lovely food. I think I will look into some old pagan traditions and see if anything takes my fancy. Aplologies for those who are celebrating Christmas for religious reasons. Those reasons just don't resonate with me.

It is certainly worth having a printer SW - with all these money off coupons you can really save some money, as long as you buy things you would have bought anyway, or it allows you to buy something that was too expensive but a good price after the coupon comes off

And a littletime spent each day, doing surveys and the like, can earn you lots of free money and store vouchers too

So, with a little effort, we can all be very very MSE :money:

I'll be sending you some links for the survey sites, to you, Steve, Andy, Miche and anyone else who wants them, plus Aureol will be sending you all some links too, so there will be no excuse for anyone not to do this ;)

Oh so it's Finland you are from - all guessing Iceland I think at first :rotfl: :rotfl: Don't apologies about your thoughts for Christmas - no religion or faith should take precidence over others - all have a place in society I feel. What is more important is that whatever faith you follow, it includes being kind to your fellow human beings and gives mankind a purpose in life

I would call myself Christian, Church of England in fact, but I don't go to church or pray really. I think it is more a state of mind.

I am trying to get more comfortable about my origin. My ex pretty much stripped me off from all the pride I once felt towards my nationality and only now I am starting to get some of that back. In my new location I have found a lovely community of Finnish-British people (normally families where one of the parent is Finnish and the other British) and it feels like coming home to me. Getting the best of both worlds.

My BF is very religious but sometimes his attitudes makes me wonder. I feel that my "spirituality" is more responsible and compassionate and considerate than he is with his religion. Well at least I try to be. :o

The biggest challenge in life for me has been not to be judgemental and would you believe that my ex is the most judgemental people that I know. Perhaps I was seeking an experience where my beliefs were really put to the test.
