Dad is right and glad he was furious with your sister - he'll probably have words with her about it I hope - no need for it, was there
Shopping sounds good - found the Pound$hop then eh, goody - lots of bargains there :j hope you use it again petal now you know where it is. Now, you've just gotta find the 99p store and your flying ...... Steve will find it for you
Kit there is a 99p store at Havant & petersfield. a nice trip out for you tomorrow... I will be going to the one in Lymington tomorrow..0 -
I cannot believe i have been soooo stupid over the years. I have been fortunate i dont have much debt - house? but dad always taught me to budget. Do you know when i went off to university first time he turned round to me and said you are funding your own way. I didn't have a grant as he was so well off and i worked 20 odd hours a week. I was extremely fortunate i had scholarships for my degrees i feel so sorry for students today.
Aureol and all of your ideas have been great. New me in 2011 - why give big corporations money when they have so much? Marketing is nothing to do with knowledge it is misinformation a lot of the time. Everyone needs to go back to basics especially in a recession. This site is marvellous. A Pandora's box of ways to save money and inform consumers - a lifeline economically, practically and for me socially too.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I try to be festive. In truth I could take it or leave it. And I don't decorate the house or that sort of stuff. I tend to leave wrapping presents to christmas day morning and I don't send any cards (well except one to my grandmother). But I try to get into the spirit of it once its almost upon us.
No £stores near me (or even 99p ones!). Even our woolworths didn't become one - its some dreadful clothing store or something. I have to make do with the bargains shops instead.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
