About 10 am for us boult, though I think the others are setting off earlier as they may have to travel through the worst weather

Helloooo we couldn't meet due to the snow/ice. We are going to have to change the date. Am waiting to see if we can get any hotel refunds. Does anyone know if MSE have a post about this?

So far one full price room has been refunded but the others which were booked under an offer haven't been.

Also keeping me on track (difficult i know) but i heard 1st class stamps were going up by 5p and 2nd class ones by 4p in a conversation at work. So if you can afford to stock up now. But dad said they wont go up till April. Does anyone know anything about this?

Yes, the rise in the price of stamps has been raised on a thread somewhere on MSE and it is from April - huge rise isn't it? Might buy a few a week until April so I have some in hand. Mind you, that sort of rise, will make problems with eBay as P & P costs will rise massively :mad:

I am going to use Ebay more. I managed to buy a whole load of posh cosmetics ([EMAIL="clar@ins"]clar@ins[/EMAIL]) from ebay at two thirds of usual price for a friends Christmas present. it cost £30 instead of just under £85. Couldnt believe it 3dogs. Thanks MSE for the tips. I have learned so much since i joined.

Might go and do some ironing. Nothing appears to be on tv yet????
