We had blizzzards till about 4 pm but not too much since then, but it has iced up so treacherous

6 mile walk in this snow  not recommended:eek:

Anyway, I am going to make my hot chocolate and take it upstairs to bed with me. I need to do my update on the NSD thread and have a little browse around for bargains, but it should be an early night for me tonight, I hope

I think Mr 3Dogs has just about reached his limit with me away now, so , weather and Mam permitting, I will be checking out trains for beginning of next week I think - we'll see :o

Steve - are you still there sweetie? Night Night and take care hun

Night Night all - sweet dreams :A :A

oh my gosh. Proper snow. It looks like a Christmas tree. Stunning. I have about 15 small trees in my garden I could do a Handy and sell pictures of snow scenes. Off for bacon sarnies. Glad Andy got back safe last night. Am waiting for engineer to arrive.

Glad you got your proper snow SW - you need your neices over now to built a snowman for you - enjoy your day off petal :j

Day 6 indoors Beanie  you must be going stir-crazy

I don't know how you are still getting in to work Frit but well done that man !!!

We have had yet more snow here on Tyneside   My brother managed to get down to see Mam this morning by bus - main roads are reasonable. If roads OK this afternoon, my sister and neice are getting a taxi down to the care home and taking the two girls as school is closed today - I won't get down as the snow is too bad for me to walk for a bus and trudge around from bus to bus, etc, says my brother - certainly without my boots, which have not arrived yet
Mam was awake and bright when brother was there this morning though, so that's good news

Busy sorting my DRO paperwork out at the moment while my brother is out ;)
