last year I had all my xmas presents bought in the summer! This year I haven't bought any because we were not talking to DH's family. Now they are ok with us, they are still not getting any. I will give them £10 each and be done with it.[/QUOTE]

Byker is where Shields Road is, if that is any help?

My MIL lives in Heaton, just up the road :) and I loved watching Byker Grove when I was growing up, always wanted to visit it, but have just read that they have turned the original Building into a muslim centre, so won't be going now :( won't be the same.

Isn't Byker where the Wall is? The wall that is long and is made up of flats? Quite a view.
