Oh no, wear a hat and a scarf and have a very quick walk. I do feel sorry for you. Angel took her doggies out for a walk in the freezing cold too last night. Crumbs.

Mam - my sister and I got a taxi down to see Mam this afternoon - the side roads where treacherous but the main roads were better - the main road along to where the home is was still bad - wouldn't have liked to have driven down myself  Mam was fine - cheery and carers said she had eaten all her dinner. We put the telly on and she was watching it, laughing and smiling. We soaked her fingers and my sister cleaned her nails, then put handcream on her hand so she felt alot better. We went up for some ice cream to give her from the kitchen and a carer suggested to try her with a Magnum - so we took it for her - a full size white chocolate Magnum and she ate it all. We left her watching the telly again

I am glad you managed to see her and that she had so many treats. Susan you are wonderful. I think you have a great family.

If I have to get the bus down to school Beanielou it's going to cost a fortune. I just want to walk down the hill but too dangerous. See in the morning, will bus it down and try a walk back up.

Yeah saw the snow still coming off the coast for us and more for scotland. Stirling looked horrendous on the auld news there this morning

I am visiting my college library tomorrow as it was too cold to visit my public one and i am going to borrow to kill a mockingbird. I shall enjoy reminiscing. No marking done today but i will be v good tomorrow.

My neighbours have put their Christmas lights up. I will try to do mine at the weekend. I hope the builders hurry up as i want to decorate.

Beanie has your sofa come? how is it?

Miche buses are expensive. It costs me £5 to go to town and back but i dont go often enough to get a bus pass. The bus stop is half way on my walk to work so i have to travel by taxi when i am tired.

    Car's are so expensive though.
