I know for next year the best time to start is in January in the sales. I have learned so much from MSE.

Mr 3dogs i am going to visit some carboots too to get books and things for me to save money. Do they go on all year? How is the snow situation by you. It is dreadful for Miche and Mrs 3dogs. I feel very sorry for them despite the cute snowman. Hey Frit is probably knocking them dead in badminton. I said he had to win or we would all nag him!!!!

3dogs what have you done all day? Rested i hope. There was not much on the tv.

sw thank you so much for your words of wisdom this afternoon. It all makes perfect sense now. I've been looking at the next one and already I have what I'm going to write (and more importantly why lol) swimming round my head. Very enthusiastic about it now, got my mojo back. Just hope I don't mess this one up!

You didn't mess up at all. You are asking questions degree students usually ask half way through their degree and you are just starting your course if that doesn't demonstrate initiative i don't know what does. You are v clever and have a beautiful way with writing essays a bit of tweaking and you will do extremely well.

Blooming heck we will have to have a graduation party!!!

Mam - my sister and I got a taxi down to see Mam this afternoon - the side roads where treacherous but the main roads were better - the main road along to where the home is was still bad - wouldn't have liked to have driven down myself :eek: Mam was fine - cheery and carers said she had eaten all her dinner. We put the telly on and she was watching it, laughing and smiling. We soaked her fingers and my sister cleaned her nails, then put handcream on her hand so she felt alot better. We went up for some ice cream to give her from the kitchen and a carer suggested to try her with a Magnum - so we took it for her - a full size white chocolate Magnum and she ate it all. We left her watching the telly again
