Hello all, I have now booked a week in Sharm El Sheikh with the help of you lovely people on here for which I am very thankful. It would now be great if I could get some advice or suggestions of good excursions and some good dive centres if possible please or even places to avoid. Infact anything really, maybe there are some good restuarants to try?
I have been looking at a day trip to Cairo for around £40 which seems very good, but also looks like a very long day. Has anyone done this trip for instance?
Thanks for all help!

Hi Ian iD i have been to Naama Bay a few times so here goes. One of the good places to eat are Ghazala Gardens which is on the beach front and they also happy hours for drinks so all good. Another one is Hard Rock cafe but i suppose its what you fancy at the time. Look around, they are all doing deals now so see which is busy.Excursions defo Cario but fly if you can cos the coach trip is a long one. Best places to book are the little shops by the duty free shop. Get a few prices we did and managed to shave off a good few pounds. The quad bikes are great fun and if you book the time to go is just before sunset so you can whatch the sunset in the Sinia Mountains. Hope that helps and hope you have a great hol!!!0

It is a five hour drive to Cairo and many people do the trip by plane. you rightly say it is a very long day but obviiously it is going to be more expensive to fly.
I cannot recommend a dive school as we did not dive but from previous experience in Australia I would suggest you sort it out before you go otherwise you will waste time searching different organisers when you get there0
