Trustworthy broker sought for ASU

I really need some guidance on income protection, but don't know who to call to sort it out. I'm looking for a reliable broker but (probably) not London and Country, as I think I p-ed off someone there pretty badly after he talked me into buying a load of products which I later cancelled. Don't know if that will affect things at all, but it's making me nervous about calling them again, even though they are probably one of the best I'm aware of

Thoughts?
