I have the Lloyds duo Amex/Mastercard thing going on, have been for years and have collected loads of Avios.
But now, Avios have been moved to British Airways Executive Club. My Avios from flights are there, but not from my Lloyds spend. And I cannot, for love nor money, find out to claim for them... any ideas?0 -
It's possible that new BAEC account was opened for your and points transferred. Didn't you get letter with that information couple of months ago? There was option to transfer miles by yourself, if you already have BAEC account, or they will open new account for you and transfer miles there. So you will have to consolidate two BAEC accounts now.0

Going to be making a large purchase in the new year 10 grand and wondered if there was a better credit card worth applying for i have american express so not possible to go for their 5% i would be paying it off in full when due and wondered if i could go for ba premium which has a hefty annual fee but wondered if i cancelled the card before the 12 months would that work? Anyone ever done this?0

Perhaps more to the point is will you actually get a suffiiently high crdit limit on any new card to actually make this purchase?0 -

If you cancel the card, you will get a pro rata refund of the annual fee.
Which card you use depends on what utility you will get from the points. It may be easier to just go for cashback even at 1% if you aren't an ongoing collector of Avios.0
