If I do get the 20,000 mile bonus, will I have to buy anything more (apart from the the £250 qualifying spend) to use the 20,000 miles when booking a flight?
In other words, will a return flight be free as long as it is under 20,000 miles?

I'm not sure about the multiple card account issue, but once the 20k miles are in your Diamond Club account, you need to access your BA Executive Club account, Manage My Account, Combine My Avios, and follow the prompts. The miles will then be converted to Avios and you can use them as such to book flights. Euro Saver awards start from 4500 avios one way, with taxes at around £17, so not completely free but almost. Double miles to fly in Club.

    Hope this helps.
