I have a suggestion why not buy a Mac the problem solved the OS is stable and you do not need patch Tuesday from Microsoft.
XP was not great so I should not be to excited about Vista if and when its released0 -

Because macs are far too expensive and inflexible both hardware and softwarewise. I've currently got an ok pc which I am saving up to upgrade piecemeal. I could never have afforded to buy a half decent mac in the first place and never would have been able to keep it upgraded.Wincdows certainly isn't my favourite OS but it's decent enough and does what I want. The whole security issue is a circular logic as well, if Apple had the market share pcs had believe me they'd also have the same share in viruses/exploits and require numerous patches as well."She is quite the oddball. I have a better suggestion.... Why not wait until Vista comes out and has a few reviews before you close your mind and condemn something you havent even tried0
