Hi
Does anyone know of a good mortgage excel spreadsheet to download?
I would like it to show how overpayments, outstanding balance, how many payments remaining ect... Or do i have to get my excel brain working and make my own
Any ideas on what to include if i do make my own, ideas really appreciated
Hoping to join this forum in the new year, but i am currently commiting the ultimate mortgage sin and paying interest only due to financial problems, but our situation should change in Jan/Feb
Thanks in advance

Hi
Found what i was looking for from office online
.
I searched for other "mortgage" templates from office.com, and found one called "Home mortgage calculator". Its uses dollars instead of pounds but its the same principle.

That isn't the "ultimate mortgage sin". You are making payments which is good. As long as you are making payments even if only the interest then you will not lose your house to the lender. It amazes me how many people don't even bother attempting to negotiate a lower payment in times on financial difficulty and then lose the house because they choose to pay nothing instead of at least a token payment.Hoping to join this forum in the new year, but i am currently commiting the ultimate mortgage sin and paying interest only due to financial problems, but our situation should change in Jan/Feb
:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
