Parking at O2

I'm driving up to London from South Coast on Friday evening for Peter Kay at O2. Where should I park? I want to go and eat at the O2 so will be getting there about 6ish and I guess leaving 11ish after the gig. I know the O2 car parks cost and arm and leg so would appreciate some alternatives (preferably with postcode for the sat nav!!!!)
Thanks

Hi there
What about Stratford east London? They have a shopping centre there (check the closing time of carpark though)
You have the tube opposite to get the train to the 02
Alternatively have you tried www.parkatmyhouse.com? I went to Wembley to watch England play, parked in someones drive/on their land and was out of all the traffic etc for a fraction of the price!
Edit - I have done a search for you for the O2 - Have a look.. (i'm not on commission lol) I just found my experience good and would use the website again. Make sure you read reviews and contact the person, make sure your location will be away from the traffic so you are not stuck when everyone leaves etc

Some of the O2 car parks can charge around £20 when a major event is on. It is cheaper to prebook.
The two car parks you want to aim for are Car Park 1 & 2 next to North Greenwich tube station. These are the two main commuter car parks and will charge around £6-£8 per 24 hour period up to midnight. Sometimes you'll hit lucky and find plenty of spaces, other times it will be inexplicably busy.
Car Park 3 is the main O2 car park and this is the one that charges £19.25.The man without a signature.0 -

I'd agree.
We went to see Beyonce last year at the 02, and parked for a considerable sum cheaper in the NCP car parks instead of the 02's.That's my mutt in the picture above.0 -
I'd also book your restaurant. Although there are lots restaurants in the O2, it's unlikely you will get a table straight away.0

We went to the O2 back in June for the bonjovi concert. It too was a friday night and I read from somebody on here to park at the NCP right next door to the place that charges over £20, as long as you arrive early enough. We got there about 3.30 ish and I think it was £3-4 but as we were going in the entry some guy exiting jumped out his car and handed us a valid ticket. Bonus!! on viewing the ticket it looked like it was a weekly ticket paid in advance, so as you're going on a friday you might catch a few doing the same thing. I think many of the people who park there probably work in the city and use the tube to get in.0

When you get to the 02 tell them you are going to cinema and park in carpark on far left at back, they will direct you I expect. We did this for Disney on ice at weekend and cost £40
